What is 105 Creations?

105 Creations is owned and operated by Christina Vasilevski, a freelance writer and editor living in Toronto, Canada. I provide freelance writing, editing, and WordPress services for both individuals and businesses.

Writing Services

Whatever your needs, I can create something that is clear and accessible to your readers.  As a student, I wrote music and movie reviews; as a freelancer, I can write full-length articles, advertisements, or website copy to suit your needs. I’ve helped to write annual reports for a non-profit agency in Scarborough, and internal corporate literature for a payment processing company that served to inform clients of new account features.

Editing Services

I can both copy edit and substantively edit your text. The former means that I will pay close attention to spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax, and adhere to the recommendations outlined in your preferred style guide. The latter means that I will review your work and provide comments on structure, content, clarity, consistency, and tone.

As I edit your text, my goal is to attend carefully to your stylistic needs, be clear in communicating my concerns to you, and work with you to ensure that your final copy meets all the needs of your readers.

WordPress Services

WordPress is a great content management system for both web developers and non-web developers alike. Even so, learning how to use it can be scary for the uninitiated – get  over your fear by letting me teach you what a wonderful system it can be ! I provide the following services for users new to WordPress:

• WordPress installations on your web host’s control panel;
• A customized web design made with Artisteer;
• Tutorials on how to add content, maintain additional features like themes and widgets, and keep your site secure, and
• A list of resources if you want to learn about more advanced aspects of WordPress management.

My Education

I am currently enrolled in the publishing program offered by Ryerson University, and have directly applied my learning by crafting both internal and external corporate literature in my current position as an account manager with an online sales company; I can apply the same skill and care to any project you request.

In addition, I’m also an alumnus of Trent University with a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies and International Development Studies. If you want to work with someone who can read and edit with a discerning eye, and can solve problems by looking at both sides of the coin, then I’m your gal!
